Trusting the wrong person could cost me everything.

I’m on the run, desperate to escape the same fate as my two best friends—married off into a powerful Mafia family. I book passage on a containership leaving Italy, bound for the New World, ready to disappear forever. New name. New life. No past. But everything shatters when I find Niccolo Valdici on board.
He’s cold, commanding… and in the middle of a deal that goes violently sideways. I think he’s dead—until he rises and slaughters every man in the room.

Nico isn’t just Mafia royalty. He’s a vampire.
Things go from bad to catastrophic when I learn my father betrayed the Valdici family, trading my hand in marriage to a bloodthirsty monster in exchange for power. Nico gives me a brutal choice: marry him to protect the family name—or die.
It’s not love. It’s survival. At least, that’s what I tell myself… until his hands make me forget every lie. Until his mouth burns away every doubt. Until I realize the only thing more dangerous than marrying Nico… is falling for him.

When our union is challenged before the Vampire King’s council and Nico vanishes without a trace, I discover a chilling truth—someone from his past has returned from the dead, and they plan to use him to take over the magickal realm.
Now, with enemies closing in and desire running hotter than blood, I’ll risk everything to save the vampire I swore I’d never trust… even if it means making a deal with the devil herself.
