I was devastated when Maggie left town for nursing school.
Yeah, sure, we were only innocent high school friends back then.
Besides, I had big plans for my future, too.
I tried to put Maggie out of my mind…
I tried to replace her with a new love.
It didn’t last, and I started hitting the bottle.
