I did everything I could to put distance between myself and the two people I couldn’t have. That is, until my phone rang.
My step brother who embodies my most taboo desires, wants me to join his band on a leg of their tour for one week. Fill in as his band’s makeup artist and social media manager, that’s it. It should’ve been an easy no, and maybe it would have been if it was just for him.
