Emma and the Elf Next Door

Emma Porter has just been dumped and now, to rub salt into her wound…it’s Christmas!

Christmas is supposed to be the merriest time of the year. Everywhere you look, there is love and joy in the air. And yet, for Emma, the happiness around her is highlighting her misery. And all she wants to do is curl up on the couch, eat some ice cream, shed some (a lot) of tears and watch her favourite holiday movies on repeat. Or one particular movie, to be exact.
Love Actually. The perfect holiday movie.
Noah Crane is looking forward to a little peace and quiet over the Christmas period. He works hard as a pastry chef at a busy Melbourne Cafe and has earned this break. The only problem? His next door neighbour—the one he shares a wall with—has been watching the same movie on repeat every day for a week now and it’s driving him mad. At first, he felt bad for his sad, obviously heartbroken neighbour, but every time he hears the opening tune for Love Actually, his patience with her grows thinner. And the closer it gets to Christmas day, the more desperate he gets to make it stop. Make her stop!
Unfortunately for Noah, his well-intentioned plan to help Emma move on from Love Actually sparks a feud between the neighbours. This leads to them trading pranks to see who will break first until it feels like one of them is going to have to move. But in a strange turn of events (perhaps even a Christmas miracle?) after days of high jinks and mischief, these two find they may have more in common than just a shared wall.

As Christmas melts into the new year, will these neighbours find that, just like Emma’s favourite movie, love is actually all around them after all?
