The Alpha's Chosen Fate

Name: The Alpha's Chosen Fate
Author: C.A. Worley

90 pages

When Ivy is forced to return to Darkwood, to the pack and mate who so callously rejected her three years prior, she finds herself grappling with old wounds that never seem to heal.

Briggs, the fierce Alpha responsible for her heartbreak, publicly turned his back on her without explanation, leading her to flee the pack. Now, his iron grip holds her captive within his cabin walls, stoking the embers of resentment she thought she had extinguished.
As Ivy faces her past, Briggs wrestles with the truth behind his actions, burdened by a prophecy that dictated his heart-wrenching choice. Their damaged bond ignites once more while a dangerous threat looms from another pack–one tied to their traumatic past.
Can Ivy reconcile her misery with the undeniable chemistry that still simmers between them? Can she and Briggs navigate the arduous path toward forgiveness and reclaim what was lost, before it’s too late?

TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains elements of betrayal, rejection, and what may be interpreted as cheating (rejecting a fated mate for another), violence and physical harm against others (including, but not limited to a teenage female), kidnapping, and false imprisonment. It also contains disturbing themes of maternal death in childbirth and stillborn delivery. Please proceed with caution.

Author’s Note:This book does not follow my typical storyline and is a paranormal shifter rejected mate romance as opposed to a fantasy romance. Also, it lacks the same level of humor often found in my other works. Having said that, as with my other works, it does contain adult sexual themes and a HEA. No cliffhangers here, my pretties!
