A chemist and seven other dorks walk into a bar…

Mo:
I’m the chemist, and my co-workers, the founding members of Ordinary Guys Brewing, are the other dorks. Business is booming, but I can’t say the same for my love life. It doesn’t take long after sitting at our newest client’s bar to notice my boyfriend soaking up the attention of some unknown females….though he seems to be getting to know them pretty well. I’m not surprised, I’m resigned. I’ve learned over the years, everybody leaves and there are very few people in this life you can count on to have your back. I allow the bartender with captivating slate eyes distract me from the truth, with pretty words, and sensual touches, and deep and meaningful conversations. But when the dust settles, it’s always the same, me alone and wondering if I will ever be enough.

Langston:
My entire life, I’ve worked hard to be there for my mom, after my dad left, after my little brother left, I was all she had. She’s been the one constant in my life, I owed her everything. Or so I thought. Mo is like nothing I’ve ever known and therefore nothing I could have predicted, nor the way she opens my eyes to secrets and lies I’d thought better left alone. My mouth opens and vitriol spews out, aimed directly at Mo and I know I’ve lost her. I know I never deserved her. But now that the door has been opened, I can’t shut out the truth and the only person who can help me make sense of it all is her.
