When David Eastman was declared cancer free, he dove head first into resuming his role as CEO of his company. What he failed to realize is that his wife, Emily felt left behind as she struggled to find her place in the world.
Emily has been taking care of someone her entire adult life. First, her terminally ill brother, and then David. Now that he’s in remission and she’s not in fear of losing him, she is unsure of where she fits in the world. So she throws herself into a graduate degree.
Now the couple are overworked and under-romanced and they just might need an intervention to get them back on the right track.
A trip down memory lane reminds them to cling to the home they made at Solitaire, and a natural disaster just might force them to stay there a little longer than they’d planned this holiday season.
