Emma Hastings has been divorced, and purposefully celibate, for the last five years. But all that changes when she hears a ruckus from the neighbor’s house late one sultry night. When she goes next door to complain, she finds a sexy spring breaker waiting up to smooth things over, but his lean, hungry presence only confuses her all the more.

Mitch Carlson was just along for the ride. He’d never seen the beach before and wanted to before he graduated from Sunrise State the following year. A quick ride share home with some cash-poor freshmen brought him to Flamingo Shores and, even better, right next door to the hottest, sexiest, fieriest fortysomething woman Mitch had ever met. Even if it was at three in the morning so that Emma could file a noise complaint!
