When an impetuous decision is the catalyst for new beginnings, proving there is strength in loving and being loved.

Following the unexpected loss of her parents and escaping the horrors of a toxic relationship, Marlee Harting finds herself a shell of the bright, outgoing person she once was. With a coffee in hand, she knows the only direction from rock bottom is onwards and upwards and that starts with rediscovering herself again.
Love is the last thing on her mind, until she meets the owner of the hottest club in Sydney. A ridiculously regimented man – with his devilish smile and mouth watering forearms – determined to challenge everything she thought she knew and ignite desires she never thought possible.

Sebastian Micallef has carved a life for himself on his own terms, breaking free from the constraints assumed by his upbringing. Content in the shadows as the owner of a popular city nightclub, he is living his dreams with a control he holds firmly to his chest.
Finding someone to share his life with has never been on the agenda, nor has he ever been swayed by the distractions of a woman – until he encounters Marlee. Waltzing in she brings a splash of colour to his carefully organised world, enticing him to no longer walk alone, and forcing him to question his otherwise grey existence.

She painted his meticulous world with her vibrant chaos, however, can The King of Clubs forego control when she needs him the most.
