One kiss.
One smoking hot kiss with a gorgeous man. A dangerous man. Not just because he’s her boss, but because he makes Jill Reynolds feel.
Feelings are messy, they’re unpredictable, and they make it far too difficult for Jill to be the solid, confident rock everyone in her life expects her to be. Some might call her cold, some do call her an ice queen, but Jill’s okay with it, because that icy facade is her armor.
That armor doesn’t work as well as it should when Alex Owings walks into her office, his large, muscular body and undeniable charm impossible to ignore, and tells her he’s never forgotten that kiss either.
One kiss.
One kiss that lit Alex Owings on fire and made the icy hot woman in his arms the center of his world.
Alex tried to forget that kiss, because Jill’s the best CFO in the business and he wanted her working at his company. He spent an entire year trying to convince himself he could keep their relationship professional. He failed. Only, he’s not ready to admit defeat. He’s going to do everything he can to win her over.
He’s got charm, good looks, and charisma on his side and every chance of piercing her armor, until his past shows up on his doorstep and threatens to destroy everything he’s worked so hard to achieve.
