As he watches over her, drawn to her perseverance and quiet strength, he feels a connection he never thought possible. When creatures invade the village with the intent to destroy it, Ramuz rescues Ursulette, whisking her away from the burning ruins to his hidden sanctuary—a risk that may cost him his life.
