She blamed him for her father’s death. Now he is her immortal protector – Fate has a wicked sense of humor.

The last thing Zoe Kartal expected to inherit on her birthday was her dead father’s bookstore in Istanbul. Forced to return to the city of all of her dreams and nightmares, she finds more than the store waiting for her. She’s also inherited a treasure hunt for an ancient codex that everyone wants to get their hands on, and possessing it was the very thing that got her father killed.
Zoe is going to need all the help she can get in order to stay alive in the frightening and magical world she’s been thrown into. Luckily, her father also left her in the hands of his friends at the Order of Anubis.
The Order protects Ma’at, the cosmic balance between light and darkness. Both sides will go to war for the codex, and if Zoe doesn’t find it first, all of Istanbul could be plunged into chaos.
Haunted by the past, Kahil is assigned to protect and guide Zoe into the new world she finds herself in. He doesn’t trust the magical beings of the city to play by the usual rules, and Zoe has no idea what’s coming for her. Despite the danger and forbidden attraction, Kahil will break every rule to keep Zoe safe…and win her heart.

‘A City of Hearts and Feathers’ is a spicy stand-alone romantic urban fantasy, but please note it also contains violence and swearing,
