Beautiful Losers
Fiadh Murphy has no shortage of reasons to leave Dublin. She’s lost her job, her dad is the most hated man in Ireland, and the father of her five-year-old son, Ari, ran off to LA to become a life coach to the one percent. So when the opportunity arises to take over a guesthouse in the south of France, she’s all in.
She hadn’t counted on moving into Fawlty Towers, the unfriendly locals or obnoxious guests – namely, Jack Hamilton, a famous British journalist threatened with “cancellation”. To make matters worse, he’s there to film a travel series on B&Bs from hell. Fiadh has one month to get Jack on side or she and Ari are out of money and out of options.
Is this the nail in the coffin for Fiadh’s fresh start? Or could be the first bit of good luck she’s had in years?
Warm, funny and optimistic, this enemies-to-lovers page-turner set in an idyllic French village is the ultimate feelgood summer read.
