My name is Indie Valentine.
I’m a cupid. And I have a big problem.

But then disaster strikes, and Mesmer and I end up stuck together in my tiny cottage on the floating isle of Steadfast—sharing meals, navigating the awkwardness of living in each other’s space, and trying to unravel a mysterious assassination plot. And the more time we spend together, the more I realize Mesmer isn’t at all what I expected. Beneath the quiet, gruff exterior, he’s protective, fiercely loyal, and sweet in ways I never saw coming.
Now I’m the one in trouble. Because for the first time in my life, I’m falling in love—the deep, forever kind. The kind I never believed in.
