They keep telling me I broke his heart.
Well, he broke mine first.

Andy
I never wanted to come back to Silver Bend.
To say high school was awful would be a grand understatement.
I was the star of a scandal that nearly destroyed me.
It just figures that co-star of that little soap opera is the donor I’m stuck working with.
Bo Thomas.
The golden child. The one who got whatever he wanted.
Including my heart.
I can’t stand being near him again.
But with my job in the balance, it’s not looking like I have much of a choice.

The only thing that ever made perfect sense, every time, was when she was in my arms.
Bo
My parents’ divorce battle might as well have been front page news.
Just wait until everyone realizes my mom donated some of our best farmland to a bunch of bird lovers.
The real punchline to the joke is that the foundation’s project lead also happens to be the one girl I never got over.
For as long as I can remember, she’s been the girl of my dreams.
Even after dragging her through the mud, I still want her.
I never ever meant for her to get hurt. But it happened like that anyway.
I know it’s not fair. Or right.
But my heart wants what it wants.
And I have never, not for one second, stopped wanting her.

The Second Dance is a scorching-hot slow burn romance about two opposites getting a second chance at love. Vicious rumors cut their relationship short. He was the only man she ever loved and the only man who ever broke her heart. Andy escaped her past, leaving her hometown and the rumors behind. When a work project throws them back together, it seems history is about to repeat itself.
