59 pages

Amelia has always felt different, though she’s spent her life denying it. Now, with her twenty-fifth naming day fast approaching, all she can see in her future is death. Should she walk toward it, or fight it? As her pack closes in and watches her every move, confusion becomes her constant companion.

Rome, centuries alone, has long given up on the promise made to him by the goddess Luna—that one day he would meet his mate.
Run or die. Those are Amelia’s choices. She chooses to run—life is too precious to surrender to a pack hungry for blood. But evading them is only half the battle. A hunter is out there, determined to make the dark goddess proud by ending her life.
When Amelia and Rome meet, the hunt intensifies. Can Rome protect the mate he’s waited for all his life? Will Amelia be strong enough to break free from her past and stand by his side? Together, can they defeat the hunter and face whatever other dangers lurk in the shadows?
