Faye Bennett doesn’t like to keep secrets
But… she needs a fresh start.
The only way she sees that happening is if she walks away…
from her family’s fortune and prominent name
Problem is, as the saying goes, lies have a funny way of coming back to bite you.
When she hires Jesse, the gorgeous contractor, to renovate her dilapidated seaside bar,
She never dreamed he’d be repairing a lot more than just the building…
Working closely alongside him has her fantasizing…
about his sexy hands on her body instead of his tool belt.

Jesse Carlisle was just going out for a couple of beers with his crew…period
Not looking…not interested…too busy
Owning a successful construction company is a juggling act…
And he already has more on his plate than he can handle…
Trouble is…he wasn’t expecting to fall into Faye LeBlanc’s frightened baby blue’s…
She ignites every latent alpha male instinct he has…
Not to mention every ounce of testosterone
Before he realizes it, his big mouth hijacks his common sense…
and he’s volunteering to put his own business on the back burner…
to rescue the beautiful damsel in distress.
As danger swirls around them, he’s committed to protecting her…
Even if it means putting his own life at risk.
