Beyond the Grasslands

The continuation of Nika and Thorin’s story. Into the Grasslands MUST be read first!

Nika:
Thorin’s pack mates betrayed me.
Aiden kidnapped me.
I had to rescue myself from the situation these two Alpha’s created for me.
Thorin’s wolf couldn’t be trusted and Aiden’s human was worse.
When Selene gave me a choice, and explained that neither would seem like a good option at first, she hadn’t been lying.
The other shoe had well and truly dropped.
I was caught between two wolf-mad Alphas and had to hope that I chose wisely because one would mean my downfall and I had to hope that it wasn’t the one I already started to fall in love with.

Thorin:
We should have been mated.
If that dead wolf walking hadn’t stolen my mate away, we would have been.
I suffered the split in our temporary bond the further she was taken, but I had a plan to get her back.
The problem with that was the plan went awry when my wolf scented her.
He couldn’t help himself and I couldn’t pull him back.
We both had to live with the consequences and I could only hope that Nika would forgive me one day.
