I should’ve known the weather wouldn’t cooperate the night of the community chest Christmas party. But the storm of the century? Seriously!?!? Add it to the list of everything else that’s gone wrong lately at the Silver Fork Cafe in Rough & Ready Country…
An endless rotation of temporary employees, a slammed holiday season, a Santa costume two inches too short for me, and a naughty elf who deserves a good spanking. Well, maybe the last problem wouldn’t be so bad…if Stacey wasn’t my employee. I can’t mix business with pleasure, but the woman has curves for days, smells like fresh-baked cookies, and doesn’t shy away from Santa’s lap.
