When a fallen golden boy who has lost everything moves in with a girl involved with the mafia, a potentially fatal romance is forged.

Seventeen-year-old Tyler Winston has it all: a state senator for a father, a valedictorian girlfriend, and a high school basketball team on the verge of victory. But when his father dies, Tyler’s charmed life in Scottsdale, Arizona, collapses. Forced to move across town to the notorious South Phoenix ‘hood, Tyler finds himself living with a family friend he has never met.
Aurora Giordano seems to lead a respectable life, but beneath the surface, she is entangled in the mafia, helping her mother dispose of bodies and clean up after mob hits. The last thing she needs is a privileged “Snobbsdale” boy invading her home and threatening her carefully constructed façade.
Late-night talks between Tyler and Aurora spark an unexpected connection, but their burgeoning romance is fraught with danger. As Aurora’s possessive boyfriend looms and Tyler grapples with his profound sense of loss, the stakes escalate when Aurora’s darkest secret emerges—a revelation that could destroy her and put lives at risk.

Life in South Phoenix is anything but easy. For Tyler and Aurora, survival depends on knowing when to hold on and when to let go, navigating a perilous path where love and danger intertwine.
