Forbidden Mountain Man

I only stopped by my hometown of Sweetheart Falls to check on my mother after her knee surgery. The plan was to be in and out in an afternoon. That is, until I get a surprising phone call from someone I haven’t thought about in years. Fiona.
She’s talking so fast I can only pick up every other word, but I hear enough to know she’s in trouble. When her quiet sobs reach me through the phone line, something in me breaks. I have to get to her. I have to help her.
