Soul of a Psycho
Cade: Villains aren’t born. They are made.
Hillcrest Academy has it coming.
And I’ve vowed to be the one to pull the trigger.
What I’m planning will condemn my soul and cut my future short, but some things are meant to burn. I’ve accepted my fate.
Until Sky Lyons walks into my life.
She’s everything I can’t allow myself to have. Everything I don’t deserve.
Proper, angelic, and the kind of all consuming that makes me wonder if I could abandon my sinister plans.
My mind isn’t right, though. It’s twisted and rotten with wrath. I’m no more sane than the mental patients I spent Sophomore year with.
And sometimes I can’t control myself. Bad things happen.
But I want her.
Have to her.
For what little time left we have anyway.
Sky: He’s my worst nightmare. But I don’t want to wake up.
All I have to do is survive one year at Hillcrest Academy and then I can graduate and escape my father’s suffocating grip. I’ve played the perfect daughter, the polished congressmen’s princess, for long enough, and escaping to another country is finally within reach.
But then I’m snared by the pitch black eyes of Cade Haven.
He’s everything I need to stay away from if I want to keep my father at bay.
Dark, dangerous, and full of secrets that could destroy us all.
Literally. The gorgeous outcast has his sights set on deadly revenge.
But there’s something about him that pulls me in, something in the way he keeps his hood low and his eyes guarded that makes me want to peel back the tough exterior.
What I find intoxicates me.
And drags me to my knees.
I’m completely devoted, willing to give him anything, even if that means letting him take my life as part of his vengeance.
And the scariest part? I think he’s going to.
