HE PLANS TO ICE HER OUT.
SHE REFUSES TO BE LEFT OUT IN THE COLD.
WILL A BLIZZARD BE WHAT MELTS THEIR HEARTS?

Francesca “Frankie” Miller knew starting grad school after a ten-year hiatus from college would be hard, but the seasoned adventure guide never expected to make an enemy on day one. Showing up to class late and “ill-prepared” makes her the immediate target of her professor’s disdain. Fortunately, Frankie is no stranger to a challenge. As she counts down the days to her brother’s December wedding, she refuses to allow the intimidating and inconveniently alluring professor to derail her from her dream career.
Law professor and former powerhouse divorce attorney Benjamin Clark knows there is no such thing as happily ever after. However, that’s not stopping him from accepting the role of best man in his buddy’s wedding. Benjamin hasn’t exactly been there for his friend over the years and he’s determined to change that. Starting with a trip to Leavenworth to support the groom on his happy day. But when the professor learns that the beguiling blonde who vexes him from the front row of his classroom is his best friend’s little sister, he can’t help but be overcome with guilt for tormenting and lusting after her all quarter.
Far from campus during winter break—despite lingering resentment—Frankie and Benjamin strike a truce for the sake of the wedding. But when the maid of honor and best man find themselves separated from the rest of the wedding party on a snowshoe excursion gone wrong, they’re faced with a new set of challenges: survive being stranded in a blizzard while also ignoring the sizzling attraction growing between them.
