Here are the rules for working at Liam’s bar: Don’t sit down with the clients. Don’t go upstairs. And never ask him about his scars.

After my first night waitressing at his shady exclusive bar, Liam told me to get lost and never come back. When I showed up for the next shift, he insisted I find another job—that there were better ways to pay my college tuition than waiting tables for Boston mafia bosses. I can’t stand men like him, who think they know what’s good for me. So what if he’s tall, dark, and gorgeous? The last thing I need right now is a distraction with sex appeal.
Thing is, he was right.
Because when the cops come busting through the front door one night, I realize that Liam is a lot more than just the bar’s owner… and I’ve worked myself right into the middle of his “business.”
I don’t know what’s worse—seeing Liam’s dangerous, ruthless, dominating side… or the fact that I can’t keep myself away from him. Now that I’m officially a part of one of Boston’s most notorious gangs, every secretive meeting draws me further away from the dream life I always wanted. I have got to break free from them, from Liam…
If he’ll ever let me go.

Scarred King is a steamy standalone mafia romance with mature themes of violence and alpha-male possessiveness, perfect for fans of J.T. Geissinger, Kira Cole, and Naomi West.
