Escaping up the mountain is exactly what I need. Deep in the wilderness, the reopening of the Mountain Retreat Lodge is a fresh start.
A new job. A new me.

But even up in the altitude I manage to break things. It’s my first week in the job and already I’m stomping up the hill, ready to tell the owner how I’ve gone and ruined the re-opening of his lifelong-dream.
Only when I get to him, he’s shirtless. I should be scared. I should turn around and run for my life. He’s absolutely massive. Broad shoulders and enormous chest. Not to mention he’s holding an ax for heaven’s sake!

He takes one look at my plus-size figure with those dark heated eyes. He takes me inside his cabin, and slams the door.
I’m not sure I’ll ever be allowed to leave.
I’m about to be punished.
