Fresh out of college, Ryleigh Stewart steps into the pulsating heart of Manhattan, ready to embrace a new chapter with her best friend and roommate, Sadie. But beneath the shimmering skyline lies a darkness that has haunted Ryleigh since childhood.

Ever since her father’s tragic murder when she was just six years old, nightmares have been an unwelcome companion, lurking in the corners of her mind. Yet, as she navigates the vibrant chaos of the city, a chance encounter with the enigmatic billionaire, Oliver Fox, sets her on a collision course with her past.
Oliver, sixteen years her senior, is captivated by Ryleigh from the moment he lays eyes on her. Despite her initial reluctance, his relentless pursuit chips away at her defenses, igniting a passion that burns brighter than the city lights. But as their relationship deepens, Ryleigh discovers that Oliver’s affection comes with a suffocating intensity.
Unbeknownst to her, Oliver is not just driven by desire; he’s driven by fear. Fear of losing her to a specter from her past, a force lurking in the shadows, waiting to snatch her away forever. As Ryleigh grapples with her own feelings, she must confront the demons that haunt her dreams and the very real danger that threatens to tear them apart.
