When I was told I was being sent to a whole new planet to mate with an alien male, I thought things couldn’t get much worse.
I have an alien mate who is currently going through some transformation that makes him angry and dangerous. I can barely say two words to him without getting in my own head. He doesn’t seem much better after I reject him more harshly than I mean to. That doesn’t stop his pursuit of me. I don’t think anything actually could.
All it takes is one night for me to realize that things can always be worse. Aliens from another tribe infiltrate the walls of our tribe in search of a human female to take. They don’t have the same reverence for women as my mate and the others in his tribe. No, they kidnap me without hesitation in hopes they can take advantage of how weak I am compared to them. What they don’t know is they’ve taken a warrior’s mate. He won’t stop until he finds me, and when he does, he’ll make sure these kidnappers know just how badly they’ve messed up.
