Cloud Nine Love

Sometimes a one-night stand is just the beginning...

Sexy hotshot Remi Rhodes is ready for a break. After dedicating his life to fighting wildland fires, he's looking forward to some R&R. His vacation comes in the form of heading back to his hometown to be in his baby sister's wedding. He will not only be giving her away but also standing as the man of honor as she says 'I do' to his best friend.

Unfortunately, the weather has other plans. When his plane gets grounded and all flights are canceled, he finds himself stranded. His only consolation is the gorgeous green-eyed beauty he met at the airport bar. Remi isn't really a one-night stand guy, but she makes the prospect very tempting.

When he wakes up in the hotel room alone, Remi fears he'll never see his mystery woman again. That is until he gets off his plane and is introduced to his counterpart in the small wedding party, the best woman. He doesn't know whether to thank fate, destiny, the universe, or all of the above.

Stunning single mom Taylor Hale is ready for her new chapter. After spending her entire adult life serving her country and in medical school, she is looking forward to her time being her own. First up on the agenda, reuniting with her daughter after her final tour overseas. And then, she'll be standing beside her baby daddy and best friend as his best woman as he marries the love of his life.

There is just one problem. A thunderstorm has made it impossible to get home. The delay is devastating, but there is one silver lining to the storm clouds. It comes in the form of a tall, dark, and handsome stranger who happens to be a dead ringer for her lifelong crush and proves to be a very tempting distraction.

When her attempt to avoid the dreaded 'morning after awkwardness' proves successful, Taylor realizes that she might have missed her chance to ever see the literal man of her dreams again. She tells herself it's for the best and files the night away in her memory vault. But that vault is reopened when the bride's brother and man of honor turns out to be a blast from the very recent past. When she sees her one-night-stand's familiar face, she doesn't know whether to swoon or throw up. She's leaning toward the latter.
