Lieutenant Nick Jacobs is busy and happy with his security career. The Chance for Charity reality show is supposed to be a fun break and a million dollars added to his investment portfolio. But Nick is blindsided when he finds out that Darcy Saint, the beautiful ex-wife of the drug dealer he’s after, is his partner for the show. He doesn’t know if he can trust her or if she’s really “Trattori’s traitorous ex” like she’s known to law enforcement. As they work through the challenges together, Nick comes to believe that Darcy truly is an innocent angel, and maybe even his perfect match. But how can he allow himself to fall in love with her when his focus is bringing her ex-husband to justice?
