Green with Envy
Brendan
Mine.
My best friend. My other half. The girl of my dreams.
She told me a stack of lies before she left for college. Something about another man being better for her family. But I can’t let another man have her.
Especially not my brother.
Our fathers may have decided who she’ll marry, but I know better. I know her heart even if she can’t quite admit it to herself.
I’ve waited four long years but she’s back and I’ll never let her go again.

I walked away.
I told him I’d be marrying his brother. I told him it was my destiny.
I lied.
My father took my choices from me. He chose my path. My future. My husband.
But resisting Brendan feels impossible.
