Consumed by Darkness

My world shattered when I walked in on the sickening sight of my husband and sister, naked, entwined in a betrayal that cut through me like broken glass. Their vile desire unfolded, a sickening tableau of warped lust. To make it worse, she claimed to be pregnant with his child, another layer to the knife twisting in my gut.
I bolted from that wretched scene, fuelled by disgust. I wanted no part in their deceit, their sick union. Their stench clung to me like a curse, propelling me into the shadows of a small town, leaving behind the ruins of a life now destroyed.
