Rosa might have surrendered her body’s control over to me, but I was also surrendering. I was offering her my heart on a plate of faith.
“Yes,” she moaned, but this time sounding emotional.
“Rosa.”
She lifted her hands to the windowsill. “All of it, Onus.”
Tears falling harder, I picked up my pace and aggression. “Babe.”
She lifted her chest to the sun, now shining through. “Sear me, Onus. Just like the sun.”
My mouth hung open while I sucked in air, so vulnerable and turned on. “B-Babe.”
Wrapping her legs back and around my hips, her channel tightened, sucking me in like a promise. “Burn me where no one else can touch me.”
“Ah,” I grunted and groaned, “Rosa! I’m going to fucking come!”
She got just as loud as her climax neared. “Scald me so I never forget you!”
Watching the sun beam in, “Fuuuuuuck!” I exploded. I mean, I fucking came in a never never-ending explosion inside this woman, then partially collapsed on her back. “I…”
I begged my lungs to breathe properly again as I chuckled, “I will never look at the sun the same.”

Lying in bed together, on our sides, we fed each other grapes. Sounds corny for a biker who would become one of the worst, but Rosa made it sexy as fuck.
Chewing and placing fruit in her delectable mouth, I asked, “Why were you banished?”
I must have caught her off guard. “Well…” Mid chew, she swallowed with difficulty. “The easy answer is … for believing in equality.”
That reply surprised me. “Where did you ‘rank’ in the angel world?”
“No. That isn’t important to me.” She, mindlessly, fingered grapes in the clear bowl between us. “I mean … between humans.”
My eyes popped. “You got booted for that? Isn’t the Almighty supposed to be all for that?”
“We’re not supposed to interfere. Free will.”
“Oh.” I placed the bowl on a nightstand. “That makes sense I guess.”
Her little nostrils flared. “What about the ones not given free will?”
Noticing I stepped into unwanted territory, I backpedaled. “Well, I’m sure you know the Bible best, but I thought we were all given free will.”
She sat up. “You are no longer exclusively one of them, so have respect for your newfound power.”
Trying to ignore the chill that possessed me, I tucked a folded arm under the back of my head after rolling to my back. “You didn’t possess free will?”
Rosa snarled, “Of course, I did. I didn’t fall.” She lifted her chin. “I leapt. A leap of faith.”
I couldn’t help but suck in air. This beauty was a gift to us all.
Why did that fact suddenly bother me? It would take time to figure out.
“Babe.” My free hand reached to touch her face. “Where did this ‘leap’ take you, before me?”
Her chin fell and eyes closed, solemnity etched into her features. “Everything has a price.” Her shoulders drooped. “I paid my way to be here.” From underneath her hanging hair, she looked at me. “Hopefully you will make wise choices with your own free will.”
