Days… So many days down in the cruel dungeon of the yacht. All for nothing. Everleigh was nowhere in sight.

Hanging from the ceiling, metal cuffs wearing my wrists to raw flesh, I smirked at Lorenzo. Blood dripped from my mouth, and his sperm from my core, but I was still awake. Barely, but still fighting because Lynx had promised I was worth it—the fight.

I weakly told my captor, “My replacement,” my knees buckled even as I demanded my feet find the cold floor again, “isn’t looking so good.”

The naked slave was huddled in a corner to my front right. Crumpled on the floor, her bare behind was as red as mine. After Lorenzo had forced the kidnapped singer to whip me, he whipped her for not doing it hard enough.

He’d then let out his fury on me to the point he was now breathless and sweating.

Like an animal about to eat his prey, Lorenzo paced in front of me. “You’re not looking so good yourself.”

Hungry and exhausted to the point I was becoming delirious, my eyes threatened to close. “The parts of me… that you can’t reach… are just fine.”

My head fell forward until Lorenzo had my hair in his vicious grip, yanking my head back to see him. So close his breath rushed across my face, Lorenzo growled, “The places your ‘biker’ can touch?”

Knees buckling, I hung there weakly, but my heart was strong. “The places… he owns.”

I laughed when Lorenzo side-kicked me. The blow to my hip was nothing compared to the fire burning at my back.

From the chains above me, my body swayed right to left, like a huge piece of meat in a butcher’s walk-in refrigerator. “My… prince.”

“Your what?” spat Lorenzo.

My head lulled backward and drooped there, all my energy fading. “Snow White…” My mind was slipping, taking me back to a book Mammy had read to me. When my eyes closed, a perfect red apple was my vision. “Snow White and,” I exhaled, my lungs fatigued from all the cries and screams, “the prince’s kiss.” Lynx’s warm mouth had my eyes welling. “The kiss… that brought me back to life.” I imagined his strong arms holding me. “I love you.”

“You what?” Lorenzo’s voice was deepening with rage.

The bottom of my feet no longer had purchase. The tops rested on the coldness that had been chilling me for days… “Snow White… The prince… and the seven dwarves…”

I passed out.

Whack!

I awoke to a hellacious smack across my face.

Lorenzo was seething through his smile. “Tell me more about the seven dwarves.”

My mind showed me the loud old truck and a certain smile. “Legend.” An eye patch. “Dagger.” My guard. “Vice.” The biker tapping his chest at the red light. “Diesel.”

He chuckled. “That’s only four, dear. It appears your fairy tale hasn’t come true, after all.”

I thought of the bikers in The Barn. “Stallions.”

Condescendingly, he said, “Five.”

I thought of Mississippi and the other bikers present. “Wolves.”

He rolled his eyes. “Redemption Ryders. A stretch but fine. Six. That it?”

I thought about singing next to the large tree with animals in it. “Christmas.” I smiled, blood on my teeth. “Christmas. My seventh dwarf.” My head rested against my arm. “My prince gave me… Christmas.” Blood smeared to my skin and smelled like iron.

Absolutely on the verge of exploding, Lorenzo slowly lifted his hand to smack me again, but the dungeon door flew open. “Sir! Lady Isabella is sinking!”

“What?” roared Lorenzo.

“Everyone got off safely, but it is going down!”
