“Hello, son.”

“Mother.” He moved out of the way to let her inside.

“Hello, boys. Oh, Jackson. Look at you.” She smiled as she walked over and straightened my bowtie. “You look so handsome.”

“Thanks, Aunt Barb.” I kissed her cheek. “You look beautiful.”

“I was very upset to hear that Grayson and Gabriel couldn’t make it. Those boys need to move here to be with their family. You boys are all they have left.”

“They’ll move here if and when they want to, Mom,” Sam said.

“I suppose Jackson told all of you that he and Georgia ran into me at Mastro’s.”

“He did,” Sebastian said.

“And he told us you were with Henry. Who is this guy, Mom?” Stefan asked.

“He’s a man I’m seeing. I also wanted to tell you that I’m leaving for Cabo tomorrow. I’ll be gone for two weeks. Try not to miss me too much.”

“Is he going with you?” Simon asked.

“Yes. He’s the one who booked the trip. He completely surprised me with it. That’s the kind of man he is. He likes to surprise me. He’s full of life just as I am, and we’re very compatible.”

“Oh, so that means——” Simon paused. “That means he must be a really great guy.”

“He is, Simon, and I can’t wait for you boys to meet him after the ceremony. I better go so we can take our seats for the big event.” She smiled and walked out the door.

“Triple scotch. Triple!” Simon yelled.

Shaun poured some into a glass and handed it to Simon. He threw it down the back of his throat in one gulp.

“We know, bro.” Sam patted his shoulder. “We know how hard that was for you to say that. We’re proud of you.”

“Don’t ever make me be nice like that again.” Simon pointed at me, and I laughed.

Another knock at the door alerted us that it was time to head down to the Crystal Gardens.

“Are you ready, bro?” Christian smiled.

I inhaled a deep breath. “I’m ready.”

CHAPTER36

Jackson

I stood there with my brothers and my cousins lined up, standing next to me. I looked out at the guests and saw Jamieson and Grace sitting there. He gave me a double thumbs up with a smile across his face.

“Damn. It’s hot today,” I said.

“Not that hot,” Conner said. “Bro, are you okay? You’re fidgeting.”

“I’m fine.” I sighed.

The music started to play.

“It’s showtime,” Shaun reached over and patted my back.

My heart was racing out of my chest as the girls walked down one by one. Each of them looked beautiful, as did Ella, Lily, Rori, Lena, Lorelei, and Nora. Then there was little Henry. An adorable little man in his tuxedo, carrying a white pillow. All the girls took their places as Stefan took Henry and stood him in front of him. The wedding march started, and tears filled my eyes when I looked up the aisle and saw my bride standing there. She slowly walked down the white runner as everyone stood up, and all eyes were on her. She was the most beautiful woman in the world to me as it was, but seeing her dressed in her form-fitted gown with a beautiful long veil took my breath away.
