I hover over her for a moment, looking down into her beautiful face. Something’s different. There’s a change in her. She’s breathless, her eyes wide and sparkling with an emotion I don’t think I’m ready to name.

“As long as you’re naked, I don’t care.” I lean down and place a kiss on the top of her head. The room is silent for a minute. Both of us letting our breaths regulate.
A few more seconds pass before she moves. “Where are you going?” I ask, not ready for her to get up.
“I gotta pee.”
I bark out a laugh. “You do that. I’ll be here waiting.”
