Exhausted didn’t even begin to cover what I felt the next morning at work. I would’ve killed for a giant bowl of coffee. Instead, I had water and felt sad about it. By the time lunch rolled around, I was arguing with Sebastian in my head about how he had to come around at decent hours from then on. I needed sleep, especially since there were two little humans trying to suck the life out of me from inside my body.

That exhaustion was probably why I didn’t immediately notice the gasps and excited shouts that rose up in the cafeteria until Jake was standing right in front of me with a big bouquet of flowers in his hand. I blinked a few times and realized that he was really standing in front of me in a crowded cafeteria. Then, the chaos happening around the cafeteria made it through my sleep-deprived brain and I acknowledged the crowd of kids pushing towards Jake.

He smiled down at me, oblivious to it all. “Hey, angel. I thought I’d-”

I grabbed his arm and yanked him towards the exit. “You’re going to cause a riot!”

He trailed along with me, barely putting in any effort because his legs were so much longer than mine. “These kids should not know who I am.”

I rolled my eyes and scanned my ID to get us into my building. I could still hear a group of giggles following us so once we were in the building, I ducked into a janitor’s closet and pulled him in with me. Shutting the door, I leaned against it and had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing when he pulled the string to turn the light on and I met his eyes.

He shook his head. “That was ridiculous. Why do they know who I am? They’re children. The band’s music is not for children.”

Feeling so much more alive and pumped full of adrenaline, I smirked up at him. “I was a kid still when I listened to your music.”

He frowned. “That was a low blow.”

I grabbed his shirt and pulled him to me. “You brought me flowers.”

He leaned down so we were eye to eye. “I did. I lost them, though. I wasn’t expecting to run from a mob of teenagers.”

Gripping the back of his head, I pulled his mouth to mine and I kissed him like my life depended on it. I took control for once and when I stroked my tongue into his mouth, he groaned. I pressed my body to his and laughed when he picked me up and pinned me to the door.

“I would love to pull your panties to the side and drive my cock into you right here, angel. If you worked anywhere else, you’d be stuffed full of me by now.” Jake’s rough words against my ear made me rock my needy lower body against his.

“If we don’t get out of this closet and get you out of this school very soon, you’ll be able to make that dream come true because I’ll have to find a different job.” I kissed him once more. “I don’t want to let you go, though.”

He growled. “Dinner tonight? At your house so I can bring Lucy and make her act like a kid for a bit longer?”

I grinned and nodded. “Maybe we sneak away to the bathroom while they’re watching a movie?”

He pressed himself into me and swore. “I can’t go out there with a fucking hard on, Fi.”

I licked my lips and made a promise to the heavens that if I got away with what I was about to do that I’d never do anything like it again. I dropped to my knees between Jake and the heavy door and watched his eyes go wide as I pulled his pants low enough for his cock to escape.

“Not what I meant, angel.”

I gripped him and stroked a few times. “Should I stop?”

He swore and braced his hands on the door. “Fuck no.”

I sucked him into my mouth and didn’t stop until he came down my throat with a low moan. Not wanting to do a bad job, I licked him clean after and tucked him back into his pants. He was still breathing hard and sweat had broken out across his forehead when I stood back up and smirked at him.

“Did I manage to scandalize the rockstar?” I ran my hands through my hair and then wiped my mouth to make sure I was clean.

He swallowed and nodded. “Sorry. I’m not sure my legs are going to work to carry me out of here.”

I heard the bell ring to signal lunch was ending and swore. “They’re going to have to. You’ve got about thirty seconds before these hallways fill up with kids.”

He grabbed my face and kissed me hard. “I’m repaying you tonight. Have a great rest of your day and sorry about the flowers!”

I leaned back against the door once he was out of the closet and let my head thump into it as I looked up at the ceiling and fought a grin. I’d never done anything so crazy. That sense of wildness carried me through the day and I was leaving with a giant smile on my face until Principal Hendrix spotted me and called me into his office.

All of my happy bravado vanished as I saw the look on his face. I suddenly felt like throwing up and as I joined him in his stuffy office with all of his awards and plaques, I considered how he’d feel if I threw up in his shiny trash can.

“Sit down, Miss Carter.” Hendrix sank heavily into his giant leather chair and I couldn’t miss the different between his chair and mine. Mine looked like he’d stolen it from the elementary school.

I sat and tried to look as innocent as possible. “What can I help you with, Principal Hendrix?”
