Another release tears through her, and the feeling of her muscles clenching down on my shaft is enough to launch the orgasm that’s been right on the edge.

Sliding out, I stroke myself to completion and decorate her slit with my cum.

When we finally catch our breath, I free Liv from the tie, and she tumbles to her side on my desk.

Liv groans, and I relax back onto my heels, still kneeling on my desk.

“Fuck, Noah. I don’t think I can move. My legs are like Jell-O.”

She smiles up at me, her eyes blinking closed as exhaustion washes over her. I step down off the desk and go for the tissues in my drawer.

I clean up myself and then swipe over the mess on Liv. She shivers as I rub across her overly sensitive flesh, and I toss the Kleenex in the garbage.

“Ooh.” A shudder skitters down her body, and Liv goes to sit up.

“Hold on.” I scoop her into my arms, and she lays her head against my chest. “I think I can help with the Jell-O legs.”

“Oh, that’s much better. Thank you.”

Liv exhales deeply, and I do my best not to jostle her as I walk upstairs to my bedroom.

“I’m exhausted. Can I—”

“Oh, you’re not going anywhere except my bed. Go to sleep, little peach.”

I lie her down on the bed and get in after her. Pulling her under my arm, I set another too-early alarm and use the voice activation to turn off the lights.

“Noah.”

I look down at Liv’s nearly asleep face. “Yes.”

“I think I deserve a bonus.”

“Ha!” My laugh bounces her slightly, and Liv frowns. “I’ll take it into consideration.”

Shuffling to get more comfortable, she lays her hand over my chest, right above my heart.

“Good. I’m going to need another T-shirt.”

“Can do. Go to sleep.” I smooth my hand down her shoulder and my heart squeezes as I gaze down at her lying safe in my arms.

She doesn’t respond, and her breathing evens out into a steady rhythm as she gives in to her fatigue.

Chapter 19

Olivia

Sneaking around this morning goes a bit smoother. Practice makes perfect, I guess. But a nervous energy still clings to me as I go about the day.

Noah is out and off to work in a dash, and I drive Elijah to school for the last day before the work week is over. Hooray for the weekend.

At least, that’s what I would have thought, but Noah is in a weird mood when he comes home from work, arriving earlier than usual, and he’s grumpier than he has been in a while.

Not knowing why he’s in such a foul mood doesn’t sit well with me, so I ask why he’s so cranky.

“I’m not cranky. I’m just…”

“Cranky. So what’s the deal? Just tell me.”
