“I thought she was lost to us when she married that jerk. I didn’t wish him dead, but I wasn’t upset when he died,” Jeffrey admitted. “Still, we all decided to give her time to recover before trying to pursue a relationship with her. I still think she would have picked me if we hadn’t dreamed up the fucking camp scheme.”

Master Jeffrey is back to his cocky self again, Corrine thought with a frown.

“I knew from the start it was wrong to allow her a chance to sleep with each of us,” Todd said. “I wanted to kill both of you every time you touched her. I should have just romanced her the moment she was available again.”

Eric eyed his two best friends. “Neither of you would have stood a chance. I think Corinne-girl had a crush on me in high school. She just didn’t realize we could have a future because I played it too damn cool. I should have claimed her back then. She never would have wasted so many years with someone else.”

“Sitting here, debating which of us she would have chosen isn’t helping,” Todd barked. “Let’s go corner Corinne-girl and have her reevaluate her decision. We will eliminate the first option, of course.”

All three men stood up and started for the door. Before any of them could reach it, she flung it open, walking in and slamming it shut behind her.

All three men stared at her, their expressions stunned, and she could see they were wondering how long she’d been there.

Their shock didn’t do much to bolster her confidence in her plan. She took a deep breath before addressing them. “Well, at least we won’t have to waste precious time getting the players involved in this game together. Have a seat, gentlemen. We have some unfinished business to attend to immediately.”

After an awkward pause, the men did as she asked. Their gazes were glued on her as she walked around the table, setting a stack of papers in front of each of them. She was wearing a tight skirt and low-cut blouse. Corrine felt empowered as she realized Eric was gaping at her breasts while the other two seemed to be studying her hips and backside.

“Finally decided to show up again,” Eric said, his tone cool. “It’s a good thing, Corinne- girl, because we three have lost our patience with you.”

“I am quite displeased with all of you, too,” she snapped back.

Todd started to get up so he could offer her his seat, but she declined. Taking the fourth seat across from Eric and beside Todd and Jeffrey, she picked up a pen and bit on the tip. “Before you, gentlemen, you will find a contract. It may seem to resemble the agreement we had last week, but it’s more cut-and-dry.”

The men reluctantly started reviewing the document. “You want one fourth of the business?” Eric’s voice mocked the possibility.

“Keep reading,” she encouraged. “It gets better.”

“We bear the responsibility for building you a new camp?” Jeffrey’s right eyebrow crept upward.

“I won’t be staying at a camp used for business purposes,” Corinne explained. “I want my own camp, built to my specifications, and a boat available for me to come and go as I please.”

“Do you, now?” Todd gave her a stern look. “As if I would allow you to take off all by yourself. You’d get lost, attacked by animals, or end up being taken by some old crazy Cajun.”

“I believe I covered that likelihood on page two, paragraph four.” She found the exact point she referred to and tapped the paper in front of him. “Before leaving the camp built for me, I will speak to at least one of you about my plans. If possible, one of you will join me. If none of you are available, I will make the trip solo.”

Jeffrey pulled a pen out of his shirt pocket. She saw him make a long mark across the entire section of the contract. “Not going to happen. We will teach you how to use a boat and how to return to the mainland, but only in the event of an emergency.”

She noticed the three men exchange mysterious glances. They were back to communicating without words again. Corinne wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing. “I agree to negotiate the clause at a later time.”

Eric started shuffling through the pages. “I don’t see where you decided which of us you will continue a relationship with.”

“Oh, that's the best part. It turns out, I had more than four options to consider the last day, even though you three only deigned to give me the four impossible ones: Walk away from you all, or pick Daddy, Master or Boss. I decided to go with a fifth choice.”

“There wasn’t a fifth option.” Jeffrey crossed his arms and pinned her with a smoldering glare.

Eric leaned forward and rested his elbows on the table. His lips thinned as he worked out what she was up to. “She came up with her own option.”

“And what would that be?” Todd demanded.

“I want you all.” Corrine crossed her own arms and met their stunned stares.

CHAPTER 18

PLAYING HARDBALL

“You expect us to share you?” Jeffrey appeared insulted.

Corinne smiled sweetly. “You already have. In fact, you were the first to offer such an option. Eric and Todd didn’t turn down your offer for me to service all three of you at the camp. I don’t see the issue.”
